Overpriced
At this point, I have to leave a one-star review. My AC stopped working on a Monday, and the company was able to send a technician out on Thursday. I paid a $130 diagnostic fee and was told the issue was a small leak that could be resolved with EZ Seal. After I approved and paid nearly $800 for the repair, the technician then told me he had accidentally spilled half the EZ Seal and would return later that day to finish the job. He was friendly and professional during the visit, but unfortunately, he never came back.

By Sunday, the AC had stopped working again — less than three days later. It’s 100° outside, and I have children and pets in the house. The repair clearly didn’t hold, and I never received the full service I paid for. The diagnostic fee now feels meaningless. At this point, I believe I should be refunded for the incomplete sealant application, the refrigerant that leaked out, and the membership plan I was sold, as I no longer have confidence in this company’s service or accountability.”

“I’m a new customer and got excellent service! I got to Great Dane through the Consumers Protection Plan. This company did a ‘safety check’ on my furnace (even though I had not asked them to do this) and discovered that my heat exchanger was leaking carbon monoxide into my house. I was soo GRATEFUL they caught this! One reason everyone with a furnace should have it serviced yearly.
The service people were very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this company!!”

“We are so greatful that Dominic O was the repair guy that was selected by Great Dane to come to our home. Talk about a man that knows his stuff, he walked in asked what the issue was with our A/C. I tried my best to explain what it was doing but I don't think I did a very good job of it. He went right to work, found the issue and then told us what had to be done to fix it, I know that wasn't fun because I looked a deer in head lights but he took his time and I think he did a great job of explaining it with show and tell and where I understood what he was saying. (Thank Dominic) I gave him 5 stars because that's all it shows I can give him.”

I just wanted to tell you how happy we are with your team! We have asked for Great Dane when we need repair on the furnace and AC from the DTE Protection plan. Eric came to check the AC that wasn't working and found that the motor in the furnace had failed. He was thorough and wrote up the claim with DTE! Couldn't have had a nicer guy! Your parts people located a motor and Dominic was here today, installed it and now we have AC again! Dominic and Eric were both exceptional! Thank You and thank Dawn for her tip several years ago! I will never forget she said " if you ever need anything related to heating and cooling, give Josh a call" best tip we have ever gotten! Your team is the BEST!!
