I’ve been more than understanding and trying to give chance after chance. But now it’s time for a true review. The service I’ve received and the amount of errors have occurred is beyond a review. This is the 5th attempt to complete services and I’m tired. Not sure if it’s because I went through a program that was offered to me or if it’s just the lack of care and concern. I’ve made attempts to communicate to management, no call back or anything. Just nothing. I previously had a positive review on the initial visit, but we are now on the 5th visit. First the initial install of furnace and hot water tank. Okay great.however they missed the gas leak. Second visit gas leak is fixed so I thought. Then went to sleep over night, left for work the next morning and kids go to camp. Son come home around 5pm and enough gas has built up to blow up my home. Called Great Dane while I’m at work, and a gentlemen tells me to go and turn gas off, and they can come out the following Tuesday and it’s Thursday! Oh and I’ll be responsible for any charges OR just call 911 if it’s bad. Really? Okay Called 911, fire department come out, open all the doors and windows to air out my home and alert consumers energy come out and they were able to shut off the gas. Consumers also capped off one of the small leaked but the major leak is what poured the gas in which is the leak that was suppose to be repaired by Great Dane. Now Great dane arrives. 3rd attempt. Confused as to why “the workers would have done this”. Consumers explains to them where the leak is and what to do. I’m promised a call the next day and nothing. However in the meantime consumers turned off the gas before Great Dane got there and showed them where it was which was the same area that was supposed to be repaired even sprayed something to show the gas pouring once consumers turn it on. Consumers tagged the area that needs to be fixed as dangerous before the gas is turned back on. So i went without a dryer for some time. Along with not staying in the home because i was scared. After no follow up call, I called and spoke to a guy name Kyle, very nice just like most of the team, but he is confused and is trying to resolve it and I still never got a call from management (Steve). Then gets a call for them to come out 2 days later to give me a reason of “sometimes things happen.” 4th attempt” Ummmm blowing up a home or just not being empathetic about the situation doesn’t just “happen.” Especially if my teen life was as risk! I work for a billion dollar company and have been in in customer service for 15+. I know customer service at the highest level there is. Accountability is bigger than any ego or a name. I held off as long as i could, I’m over it. Didn’t pull permits when they should have, city is asking me about it. And yet again they have to come back out. “5th attempt” I’m one to never review in a bad way, (check my record). But it doesn’t take much for proper communication and feeling safe. At the least some type of accommodation after 4 failed attempts. At this point i feel I need a second opinion of the work they did. Even has me scared for my family honestly. But what do we do? We are here with this negative review because of you. You’ve been working on my home for months and still working to resolve the same issues. I get I’m nothing to the big deal people you may deal with or take pride in serving, but me and my family’s life is everything to me. I’m glad others have had a better experience but for me, i rather not have received the service rather sponsored or paid for.

They have the excellent service just had Jeff out for an emergency service call. He called us right after we called for service on a Sunday night he was here with in 40 minutes fixed are air conditioner but we will need to replace it. He was very professional and polite and explained the whole situation that we had going on. Can't thank him enough for coming out. I would recommend Great Dane to anyone who is looking for service or new furnace or air conditioner

Had them come out and look at my AC and of course I needed a new one. I just had a new roof put on and my neighbor said maybe a nail hit the line - had another company come out and replace the line and charge the refrigerant. Works great. The checked it with nitrogen 1st to confirm the leak instead of just saying the compressor doesn’t work anymore - very disappointed with Great Dane unfortunately

Excellent customer care for after hours emergency conversations. Scheduled next day appt. Technician Eric provided excellent, amazing service. Thorough, considerate, took time to explain and demonstrate equipment issues, serviceability, and options. He was unhurried, thorough, calm, and he enjoyed customer interactions. Also - he is an excellent teacher (he should be training others if he is not doing so right now). Installation 4 days later was amazing. Courtesy call ahead of punctual arrival. Team worked hard in hot conditions, but always kept their cool. Professional and courteous explanations. Patient. Amazing attention to details (put down runner mats where they walked. Hand swept the work area when complete, hauled away everything). Separate truck hauled away debris in mid-project. It appeared afterwards as if they had never been there. Really amazing support. Electrician Johnathan was extremely patient, answered every question, efficient, and left no trace ! Installer Wesley explained follow-up steps and care. Great Dane team (Maya) scheduled subsequent final inspections with city - pain-free ! Interactions with Great Team was positive, thorough, and kind at a stressful time. During the hottest days in the summer, my air conditioner stopped working. Great Dane Heating and Air Conditioning came out to help me with my air-conditioning needs. Dominic was the technician that came out. He was very open and honest with the pricing of everything. He answered every question in detail that I had. Much appreciation to him. Dominic did a great job. I highly recommend them. I will definitely use them in the future.

We've had electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work done by Great Dane and it's all been absolutely exceptional work. Impeccable craftsmanship and attention to detail, timely and professional, and at extremely competitive rates.Anything they do work on going forward, they are our trusted shop. Highly recommended!2 months later we had them back out for a whole home natural gas powered Generac installation, as well as an automatic switch and an electrical panel upgrade. Johnathan was very effecient and detailed with his maintainence of my furnace. He showed me different parts that were running well and also showed me the filter, that needed to be changed. I'm so glad I chose to go with Great Dane for replacement of our furnace and a/c!

The worst company you can deal with. Had problems with the HVAC system they installed from day 1 and every time it was not their fault. First it was the thermostat and I changed it then it was the vents so I had them cleaned and 2 years later the ac stopped working. Would not recommend them to anyone!

Prompt knowledgeable punctual service, they didn't have the part on the truck. The heat index was 103°. He returned three hours later to complete the repairs. That's what I call great service. Thanks to service technician Domonic for going the extra mile.

I am satisfied overall with/Great Dane, however, the cleanup leaves a lot to be desired! I was just outside and found a piece of wiring, three screws (any of which could’ve ended up in my tires) a main shutoff fuse, various brackets and pieces of plastic that you could had been snipped from something much larger!! One man was sent out to do a two-man job, (the techs words, not mine) and therefore what should’ve been a quick fix took several hours!!Adding to my initial review….I have changed my review to probably one star!! I’ve had to call several times to get my total project done, which for the money I had to pay is completely unsatisfactory!!! My electric grouping had to be done by two different people and I was left with a hole in one of my walls, which yea, is being repaired now, as I type this this, but still, I had to call after three weeks of hearing nothing about it!! Final inspection is now scheduled and hopefully I won’t have anymore issues! But my original installation date was 4-7-25 and now 7-26-25, have not been completed!! Very disappointed and would recommend!!

I have great Dane come in and do my entire AC unit. When I purchased my home, my AC unit went out 30 days after closing then my next unit went about 10 days after that great Dane came in and gave me the best optionThey were very professional Robert the sales guy was very helpful with moving through with everything. Bryan Holifield was here this afternoon 7-14-25. He was here for maintenance on my new Heating, Cooling and Humidifier unit which was installed last July 2024. He was an excellent technician who explained everything to me. It is in perfect shape. Nothing needed to be done at this time. I've had Great Dane for over 25 years or more. This company has always gone out of their way to repair, replace, and do maintenance for my family. I would highly recommend Great Dane to everyone.

Dominic was here today to service my system. My unit is 21 years old. Dom was an excellent, knowledgeable, and caring technician for repairs, it was determined that I need to replace the whole unit. The repairs would be costly, plus my unit still was old. I still would need to get a new system in the near future.It was decided that it would be more cost efficient to just buy a new one now. He was fantastic, I'm very happy that I had Dom today. I am giving Dom 5 stars!

I am totally amazed and elated about our experience with this company. Robert and Rachel were wonderful at what they do. Our air conditioner stopped working, at a very inconvenient/hot and humid time. They met with us and in a few days we had a new air conditioner and furnace. The experience was excellent and we could not have hoped for anything better! Thank you for being so awesome! I highly recommend this company, 100%!!!!

Serviceman came to replace the water pump on the furnace. It had been leaking for a few days before I notice it. I was able to get a repair date in a few days. The repairman Brad was prompt, courteous, wore protective shoe coverings and did his work thoroughly and described the needed repairs with an estimate before starting his work. Great Dane is always professional and reasonable in their work. I definitely will use them again.

“My 93 year old mother needed a new furnace, in December, in Michigan. They came out when scheduled, ran into a problem we resolved the next day. Then it took 2 weeks with this elderly woman having no heat at all to get the installation done. No sense of urgency knowing she was without heat. Two weeks! Would never recommend this company. Their lack of concern for this elderly woman was overwhelming. And even after all that, when they said it was working and mom finally had heat, she didn't. They installed the furnace with the wrong wires and had to send someone else to fix it. Can't wait until summer to see what they messed up on the air conditioner. Do yourself a favor and hire anyone else.”
