Columbus Ward was great and very helpful with the sump pump problem we were having. He helped with the float that was stuck. Now we don't have anymore loud noise. Also, gave us information regarding what to do and look for of it happens again. Great, great, great.
Bryan Holifield was here this afternoon 7-14-25. He was here for maintenance on my new Heating, Cooling and Humidifier unit which was installed last July 2024. He was an excellent technician who explained everything to me. It is in perfect shape. Nothing needed to be done at this time. I've had Great Dane for over 25 years or more. This company has always gone out of their way to repair, replace, and do maintenance for my family. I would highly recommend Great Dane to everyone.
Dominic was here today to service my system. My unit is 21 years old. Dom was an excellent, knowledgeable, and caring technician for repairs, it was determined that I need to replace the whole unit. The repairs would be costly, plus my unit still was old. I still would need to get a new system in the near future.It was decided that it would be more cost efficient to just buy a new one now. He was fantastic, I'm very happy that I had Dom today. I am giving Dom 5 stars!

Our air conditioner stopped working, at a very inconvenient/hot and humid time. They met with us and in a few days we had a new air conditioner and furnace. Fast and efficient replaced heat exchanger at resonal price in one day
Serviceman came to replace the water pump on the furnace. It had been leaking for a few days before I notice it. I was able to get a repair date in a few days. The repairman Brad was prompt, courteous, wore protective shoe coverings and did his work thoroughly and described the needed repairs with an estimate before starting his work. Great Dane is always professional and reasonable in their work. I definitely will use them again.
Eric McDaniel did a great job fixing my air conditioner. Now, I can get my whole house cool whenever I want. Eric was also very pleasant and I enjoyed having a conversation with him. Thank you, Eric, for a job well done!

Had this company come out and charge an hr worth of work for 20 mins of work. Suggest getting quotes first from different HVAC companies that are more cost friendly.

Had a Small issue after a service call. They came out and fixed us up. Had another capacitor go out and they fixed us up quickly. Been dealing with Great Dane and recommend them.
Our appointment was scheduled between 3 PM.and 6 PM. The service tech, Kyle arrived a few minutes after 3. (We really appreciate Great Dane's timeliness.) Kyle was thorough, and restored our AC promptly. He then thoroughly checked all components to insure we wouldn't have contining issues. Kyle also gave me a tip on how to reset the system if the same problem were to recur. I know I have said this before, but Great Dane lives up to the "great" in its name.

I definitely give Great Dane 5 stars for quality, service, professionalism and affordability. I'm not sure what these other reviews are talking about!! We've had other heating & cooling companies out to our house and they were a motley crew! Not to mention they didn't know what they were talking about. First, we had an issue with our carbon monoxide detector going off in the middle of the night. Great Dane sent someone out to the house within an hour of me calling. They advised that the furnace had a crack that could be causing small amounts of carbon monoxide to leak [after performing several tests and explaining everything to us]. In order to keep my kids and family safe, we needed a new furnace. I would hate to think that another company would sell me used parts and hope for the best. The furnace was old and needed replacing anyways. We got several quotes-- for the price and quality of the furnace, Great Dane was the best. A furnace is an investment, so I'd rather get a little better unit that will last me longer than have to do this again in a few years.The guys that came out were very personable, but more importantly- they were professional. I had a lot of questions- I'm pretty clueless about this stuff and my husband was at work. They went over every part of the furnace that I would understand and showed me how to program my new thermostat. I thought they went over and beyond the call of duty. Then, when I had a question about my humidifier when winter came, they sent someone to my house the same day instead of trying to explain it over the phone. I will use Great Dane again and will recommend to my friends.

I had some concerns with the performance of my air condition unit & what it was going to cost me to repair it seeing as it was less than 2 years old & was purchased & installed by Great Dane Heating & Cooling. After speaking with the owner (Josh) & having service calls (technicians Conner & Clayton), I am very pleased to say that my air has been repaired & to my extreme satisfaction. The owner & the technicians were very pleasant to deal with & demonstrated an ambition to get the job done as quickly as possible & done right. This company is extremely reputable & I would recommend them to anyone who wants exemplary service & satisfaction in quality & workmanship.
Had air conditioning looked at because the house temperature would rise throughout the day with air on. They came out, monkeyed around with the air conditioner for 30 minutes, charged me over 700 dollars. Next day, house temperature is still going up throughout the day. Texted them through their website, got no response. Waste of money and terrible business.

I have the DTE appliance protection plan, and my air conditioning was not working. DTE sent a service person from Great Dane, and he corrected the problem with my air-conditioning. I hesitated to do this Google review because I feel that the service man did a fine job, and he was a very kind, personable man. However, he did somethiing that disappointed me greatly. He told me that “for an upfront cost of $150” He could put a surge protector on my air conditioning unit. He also said he had a $50 discount coupon that he could apply. I told him to go ahead and do it. Then we began discussing a surge protector on my furnace, and I told him to go ahead and put one on that, also. In my mind, I was thinking the total cost would end up being somewhere around $250 plus tax (because I didn’t know if he would apply the $50 discount to the furnace as well as the A/C). In hindsight, I should have asked him specifically how much the total would be, but I trusted him when he said “an upfront cost of $150 and a $50 discount coupon”. When he was finished, he very nonchalantly told me that the total was $619.90. Obviously, it was a sales tactic to not mention anything about any additional costs. I did pay him because the work was done. However, I was very disappointed, and I felt rather foolish for making an assumption and not asking more questions. Unfortunately, Great Dane will not get my business from now on. If I call DTE to have anything fixed, I will specifically tell them not to send this company to my home. I learned a lesson, which is to be more specific and get a written quote on any work to be done in the future. Great Dane got a sale from me, but the sale had no repeat value. They did not earn my trust, and I cannot recommend this company to other potential customers.

UPDATE: After some conversation, Great Dane provided a refund for the incomplete repair.ORIGINAL: At this point, I have to leave a one-star review. My AC stopped working on a Monday, and the company was able to send a technician out on Thursday. I paid a $130 diagnostic fee and was told the issue was a small leak that could be resolved with EZ Seal. After I approved and paid nearly $800 for the repair, the technician then told me he had accidentally spilled half the EZ Seal and would return later that day to finish the job. He was friendly and professional during the visit, but unfortunately, he never came back.By Sunday, the AC had stopped working again — less than three days later. It’s 100° outside, and I have children and pets in the house. The repair clearly didn’t hold, and I never received the full service I paid for. The diagnostic fee now feels meaningless. At this point, I believe I should be refunded for the incomplete sealant application, the refrigerant that leaked out, and the membership plan I was sold, as I no longer have confidence in this company’s service or accountability.
I have been very satisfied with Great Dane HVAC. I use them for annual AC and furnace inspections. Every service technician has been professional and well trained in their respective fields. I highly recommend them.

We were astounded and grateful! After our inital plea was made on the hottest day of the year for A/C. A service technician, Mihali, arrived only two hours later. It took him only an hour to diagnose and repair. The A/C has been working better than ever. The service technician and receptionist were personable, efficient and proficient. Everyone in my family has an HVAC system installed and maintained by Great Dane. They make sure to get here quickly for emergencies and remind me when it is time for service. Their one year service contract saves me money and give me confidence that I won’t be sitting in the cold without heat.All their service techs are polite, respectful of property and know what they are doing.When I get notified they are on their way, I anxiously wait for them to appear at my door—holding a tool box in one hand and their blue shoe covers in the other.
